NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In today's healthcare environment, consumers are in the driver's seat, demanding quality care that is both accessible and convenient for their schedule. The Little Clinic, in select King Soopers stores across the Front Range, is delivering just that with the opening of a brand new clinic in the Parker King Soopers, 12959 S. Parker Rd. Opening Thursday, January 9, the clinic will see patients seven days a week, including evenings, with no appointment needed.
"Access to quality, convenient healthcare is becoming increasingly important as more and more consumers enter the healthcare marketplace," said Dr. Ken Patric, Chief Medical Officer for The Little Clinic. "Patient response in Colorado has been tremendously positive and continued growth in the region is a natural progression for The Little Clinic."
A Health & Wellness Celebration at the new clinic is planned for Friday, January 17, and Saturday, January 18. Refreshments, free screenings and family activities are planned, as well as cooking demonstrations, healthy shopping seminars and consultations by King Soopers Registered Dietitians and other health professionals.
The Little Clinic locations inside select King Soopers stores are staffed with Board Certified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants authorized to diagnose, treat and write prescriptions for common illnesses such as bronchitis, sinus infections, seasonal allergies and the flu. The clinics also provide a wide selection of additional services such as camp and sports physicals, health screenings, and a number of vaccinations.
The Little Clinic provides care for the entire family from age 18 months and up (24 months in Kentucky) and is conveniently open seven days a week with no appointment necessary. The new clinic has two exam rooms, a private waiting area, an electronic registration kiosk and a Patient Care Technician who is available to assist in helping patients with registration, health records, insurance, and any other tasks to maximize the patient experience and minimize patient wait time.
